Due to internal promotion we have a vacancy for a Site Training Lead/ HR Advisor to join the HR team at our manufacturing site in Linton.

 

The successful candidate will be a vital member of the HR team, primarily responsible for providing a proactive, effective, engaging, and professional learning and development service to the site. Supported by the site Training Validator, you will ensure the site is compliant and adhering to company policies and procedures, development initiatives and statutory legislation, whilst developing and maintaining good employee relations and engagement. In addition, you will actively drive the company’s personal and professional learning and development culture.

 

The successful candidate will deliver all focused training sessions covering areas such as induction, H&S training, technical training, operational training and support with shop floor based training, all whilst ensuring records are accurately maintained in our learning management systems. You will also coordinate all external training requirements.

 

Whilst the primary focus of this role is around L&D, the successful candidate will also have a key role in the wider HR function, supporting the HR Business Partner with day to day HR operations. This will involve working with site management on absence management, employee relations investigations, recruitment and onboarding and resource planning. Supporting the HRBP with site wide engagement initiatives, communications, ensuring clear understanding of policies and procedures as well as managing the occupational health provision, the successful candidate will be a true HR generalist.

 

Experience in a similar HR/L&D hybrid role is essential as is a flexible approach and the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment. You must be equally comfortable delivering class room based learning as you are with HR and L&D systems and advising managers on HR best practice and employment law. You will ideally be qualified or working towards an appropriate level CIPD qualification and have experience in the manufacturing and/or food industry.
