Role Description

To be the Technical Lead for the Oakhouse & Rollover accelerator business, managing key relationships and escalated issues.

 - Supplier Management

Liaison with Oakhouse & Rollover supply base.  Monitoring supplier standards and working with suppliers on their continual improvement.  Support to achieve Pilgrim’s audit requirements.

 - Complaint Management

Reviewing and trending complaint data.  Liaising with suppliers to develop improvement plans.  Providing support to the customer services team in responding to complaints, or directly in case of more serious complaints. Responsible for the identification, segregation, traceability of quality-assured products and Liaising with EHO / FSA as required if complaints are escalated directly.

 

 - NPD / EPD process.

Involvement with the process from start to finish.  Working with Development Chef and Supply Chain team to ensure products are developed per Oakhouse/Rollover expectations. Ensure products are safe and legal with the correct legal descriptors.

 

 - Brochure process.

Work with the Marketing team to ensure that the brochure is legally compliant.  Review brochures and other marketing materials to ensure that they are technically compliant.

Nutrition and Allergen management

To own and manage all aspects of nutrition and allergen management including supplier specification and renewal of those, a database and labelling.

 

Rollover

Further to the above, involvement in developing procedures and SOP for the use and sale of Rollover products for use by end users.  Support for the site BRCGS Storage and Distribution audit.  Support warehouse/head office hygiene and safety standards.  Maintenance and approval of allergen information for distribution to end users.  Involvement in the development and approval of new processes and equipment. 

Oakhouse

Further to the above, provide guidance on issues faced, on an ad hoc basis to individual enquiries but also in structured presentations to the franchise network on specific issues.  Visit branches to ensure that they are running in accordance with our standards and aid in their improvement.  This will also include working with the Oakhouse Franchise Team.
